We have worked with California Woodworking Inc. on many projects throughout the years. Most recently they were the successful bidder on the Farmers Insurance Central Coast Headquarters Project, a modern office space facility of 5,000 square feet located in Ventura, California. Construction of this office space began in July 2017 and completed October 2017. California Woodworking's scope of work included all the custom millwork for the office space including kitchen millwork, copy room millwork, reception counters, and storage shelving. As is the case on all projects with California Woodworking, their shop drawings were thorough and completed in a timely manner, submitted electronically for review in conformance with specifications. Samples were made available for owners and consultants review. All necessary changes were priced quickly and fairly. Materials were shipped to the site when promised and the installers worked in an efficient manner to install the end product. This project required increased cohesiveness of the design group and construction group as it was a fast-paced project. California Woodworking was more than happy to meet with the owner and design team to ensure the end user received a product that would not only work for the application but would meet the desired look and feel. California Woodworking went above and beyond in suggesting options to reduce cost and keep the overall look of the millwork.
